Phi Gamma Delta is dedicated to developing men of character within an academic setting, with the aim that they will become fully contributing members of society.

The Pi Gamma Chapter of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta (nicknamed FIJI) began at UBC in 1922 as the local fraternity of Alpha Gamma Phi and was chartered in 1929 as the Pi Gamma chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. Today, we are still standing strong as one of the 10 fraternities on campus. As an organization at large, we are one of the 150+ Phi Gamma Delta chapters across North America, and our brothers are part of the 180,000+ total initiated since the fraternity's founding in 1848. A saying we go by is “Not For College Days Alone,” a motto representative of our strong brotherhood that lasts not only during the time as an undergraduate, but for life.
